Plans, limits, and what is actually free
The free plan is enough to publish a menu and receive WhatsApp orders. It is not unlimited. Starter and Premium add the cashier board, more products, and more branches. Prices below are the monthly software fee in Egypt.
Free — 0 EGP a month
One admin, one branch, up to 25 products. Digital catalog, QR code, guest ratings, and storefront themes. Orders go to WhatsApp only. There is no cashier screen and no in-app checkout.
No card is required to open the shop. This is the plan to use while you replace the paper menu and see if guests scan.
Starter — 500 EGP a month ($10)
Everything on Free, plus orders inside the page instead of WhatsApp, a cashier screen, up to 3 branches, unlimited products, and unlimited admins. The cashier confirms the ticket.
Also includes voucher codes, promotional cards between items, and meal times that show a product only during breakfast or lunch. Pay monthly, or with points where one point equals one completed order.
Premium — 2,000 EGP a month ($40)
Everything on Starter, plus a kitchen screen, a customer screen, and unlimited branches. Both the cashier and the waiter can confirm an order.
Same billing choice: a monthly subscription, or points. menutables still does not take a percentage of the dish price.
Questions
- Is the free plan free forever?
- The free plan stays at 0 EGP for the limits above: one branch, 25 products, and WhatsApp orders. Growing past those limits is a paid plan. We do not promise every future feature on the free plan.
- Are there order commissions?
- No percentage of the order. Paid plans are 500 EGP or 2,000 EGP a month, or one point per completed order if you pick points.
- Can I start free and upgrade later?
- Yes. The catalog you build on Free stays when you move to Starter or Premium.
